Happy Independence Day!

Yesterday we celebrated one of the most monumental days in our nation's history -- the day our nation became independent from Great Britain.  It was July 4, 1776, and we've been celebrating ever since!

My fiance and I went into Portsmouth to watch the fireworks Friday night, and it was awesome to see so many people dressed patriotically in red, white, and blue.  Kids running around and playing on the swings, couples sitting and talking with each other, groups mingling and laughing -- it was a happy place to be.

The fireworks didn't disappoint; the show was fantastic!

I hope you too had a wonderful Fourth!
